When to Treat for Grubs?

If there are more than 8-10 grubs in a square foot of land then it is time to treat for grubs. Fewer than 5 means that they are not much of a threat. If there are between 8-10 then you should start thinking about the best treatment. It might not be long before they ruin your entire lawn or garden.
