How do I Get a Stain Out of Silk?

To get stains out of silk, fill your sink with cool water. Add approximately 1/2 to 1 cup of a mild soap to the water. This amount of soap depends on how big your sink is. Add 2 tbsp of white vinegar to the water. Place the silk clothing item into the sink and let the garment soak for no more then five minutes. Remove the garment and gently rub the stai with your hands. Hang the silk peice to dry or repeat if necessary until the stain is out.
