Life without chips would not make sense to me! Kettle cooked chips is my weak point. Clean and slice the potatoes into thin slices. Let them stand in ice cold water with salt for 45 minutes, then drain all the water out till they are pat dry. Deep fry in batches till they turn nice and brown. Drain excess oil and serve!
